About this artwork
In my local park sits this wooden footbridge. It stands as a distinct marker between two very different areas of the park. It has always put me in mind of how Monet so succesfully treated the play of light around his bridge in his beautiful garden. I attempted, in this unintentional homage , to catch the light playing on the waters` surface.
