About this artwork
A sequence of images printed on microfacets, this work uses the lenticular process to create a visual beat effect when the gaze moves laterally.
The alternation of images produces an optical vibration that evokes rhythm, pulse, and movement. The work seems to come alive with the viewer's movements, successively revealing several states of the same image.
Lovebeats offers a symbolic interpretation of the heartbeat. Love doesn't beat in the heart,… it beats in the mind. Like an invisible presence that oscillates between appearing and disappearing, it remains perceptible without ever being fully grasped.
Through this game of permanent transformation, the work explores the beat as a living principle: a silent pulse that connects reality to appearances.
