At the basis of my Painting there is an interest in the female world, there are women and their 'different' observation point which indicates 'different' horizons. Little by little my women have become an element of the urban landscape, that Chaos in which they are capable of bringing harmony back even for a moment, a moment of imperfect imperfection. Chiara Abbaticchio is an exciting Italian painter who has exhibited her work nationally. Constantly searching for unity between line and colour, she composes works that balance form and material with both vibrancy and harmony. Her themes include female subjects that appear soft and independent, and urban landscapes such as New York's iconic yellow taxis and and scenes of everyday life. The co-existence of these themes presents an overall image of a modern society - ours - that is defined by continuous movement between individuals and environments.
