In this painting, I wanted to merge nature with the human soul, expressing the profound and mysterious connection between the two worlds. The use of oil and embroidery creates a vibrant, almost magical texture. The leaves envelop the face in a silent embrace, inviting reflection on the balance between reality and dream. One morning, my neighbor came to me saying she had to leave for a few days and asked if I could care for her beloved sage plant…
that had accompanied her for so many years. It was my first encounter with her, and I later learned that she was a very special and somewhat magical person. This work will bring an intimate and contemplative energy into your home, filled with hope and introspection, and perhaps a little magic.
