from New York city
* This scene is from Manhattan, New York
* Winter scene is always intriguing, I always thought
one day I will be painting snow scene vigorously in the
studio, because from childhood I was admiring old
masters snow painting a lot of times, but wondered
what kind of snow painting i could bring--
Now, my experience and technique develops i have
a courage to start snow… painting, of course, my intention
is to create something very different snow painting,
but very colorful and brings enough positive energy
so that it should have long lasting impact.
First, my current painting has been focused on deep jewel tone colors, as a result, i could not avoid dark side of the
nature, of course you don't have to make dark painting
to express night scene, that should be showing in my future painting process,
for now, i would like to bring fresh snow snow colors
« My goal is to transform street scenes of daily life into a form of visual poetry. »
