Christa Nienhaus-Rekers, a talented painter, draftswoman and illustrator, has a background in textile and fashion design. She studied painting with Prof. Dörries-Höher. Using classic techniques such as oil, acrylic and watercolor painting, she often experiments with different materials and uses printmaking techniques, especially etching. Her works reflect her spirituality, her love of nature and her life experiences, inviting the viewer to travel through her world of thoughts and to be inspired and enriched by the emotions depicted.
