In my sculpture, objects made of wood, metal and paper merge into a unity that symbolizes the transience and at the same time the strength of life. The raw texture of the wood and the weathered metal elements reflect the beauty of imperfection and human resilience. This work speaks the language of nature and human experience - a silent yet striking presence in any space.
Christa Riemann, trained in painting and graphic design, creates tangible vitality with canvas and sculptures. Her multifaceted paintings and light yet striking sculptures reveal animals as soulful individuals. Her art challenges, inspires compassion and respect, and is a silent protest against factory farming. Since 2018, she has successfully managed her own producer gallery in Krefeld with her husband. This gallery also continually develops interesting and promising collaborations with other artists, galleries, and art collectors.
