Christel Fréon, trained at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et Métiers d'Art in Paris, masters various means of expression such as acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel and graphite.
In her current research, with a figurative and realistic style, she explores the visual language of childhood which vibrates with a unique energy where toys reflect power, culture and identity.
Through emblematic objects such as plush toys, her work transcends childlike innocence, celebrated and preserved by painting; they evoke accumulated memories that emotionally retrace the path to adulthood.
