About this artwork
The purpose of all my works is for the viewer to experience the depicted scene in all its polarities, provided they are open to it. A dialogue arises, almost meditatively. This is not a one-way street. The sheer force of 4 square meters of depicted loneliness, abandonment, and cold accumulates into spontaneous feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. At rock bottom, hope begins to emerge. Like a seedling, it sprouts deep within, culminating in…
