German painter Christian v. Grumbkow was born in Oberhausen in 1946. Between 1966-1971, he studied painting at the WKS Wuppertal, where he graduated under Prof. Rudolf Schoofs as a master student. After many stays abroad, the artist now lives and works in Wuppertal.
