About this artwork
Cilia has spotted a rift in the universe. She straps on her Galaxy Glider, and no sooner has she slipped through the gap than she's struck by a love arrow. It's a good thing she brought her guardian angel and the diamond magnetic sword. She's a little scared. What other challenges will she face? What on earth was she thinking, setting off like this?
The power of love's arrow begins to take effect. Cilia straightens her shoulders and hurls all her… fears into the vastness of space. Within her pulses love and the courage to begin a new life, without limits, with the wind at her back.
With this work, I wanted to create a new story of courage and new beginnings. The vibrant colors and playful collage symbolize energy and hope. Each element invites the viewer to take action and bravely begin their own story.
The material for the collage is cut from newspapers and my own acrylic paintings.
