About this artwork
The basis of this work is a painting workshop I gave. The canvas served as a so-called test canvas, on which the course participants could test techniques, colors and textures before applying them to their own work, or not.
I then decided to finish this work and include it in the "Unlimited" series, as my painting workshops are about discovering and rediscovering one's own boundless creativity. This piece thrives on its vibrant diversity and the… joy of life, which I captured with lively acrylic paints and collage elements. The abstract composition symbolizes the colorful, chaotic, yet beautiful interplay of different experiences. It is meant to convey confidence and lightness, and the feeling that life is wonderful despite everything. This painting brings a sparkling zest for life and positive energy to any room.
Christine Rechnitzer works with painting, bringing to bear her rich background in fashion, her time with Hundertwasser, and diverse art studies. Her works move freely between abstraction, figuration, and applied art—always with the guiding principle: "Everything is possible—everything is wonderful." Her art conveys an unbridled joie de vivre and invites us to celebrate stumbling as part of the dance of life—full of love, energy, and optimism.
