The light reflections and the aquatic plants indicate the water movements. Main flow direction from right to left.
The view falls on the deposits in the middle of the inside curve.
The viewer stands on the outside curve.
On the left you can see how a countercurrent pushes the green upstream.
On the inner curve, the greenery clings to the deposits due to a cross-current, which were also formed by this current.… On the right, the cross-current is directed outwards, as indicated by the aquatic plants.
