About this artwork
Pure, recycled aluminum, caused to pour by manual force and permanently deformed.
Gentle waves, valleys, mountains, faults arise through this process and create a unique three-dimensional world.
The works in this series vary in size and deformation.
Material, surface properties and internal structure are always the same.
A combination of the sculptures potentiates their effect and… their difference makes the unchanged source flow
This wall sculpture - a load-bearing basic structure, completely covered with pure, corrosion-resistant aluminum - reflects the respective surrounding colors and, depending on the lighting conditions and viewing angle, always provides new insights. It is prepared for hanging and discreetly signed with the initials cR lower right.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
