About this artwork
Very stable and can be additionally anchored in exposed locations.
The sculpture consists of manually formed aluminum and weatherproof, non-fading ink. Hand-painted and sanded and polished with the finest abrasive fleece. In the base area, the sculpture is filled with sealing concrete and equipped with a heavy-duty internal thread anchor. The side edges are reinforced and additionally… riveted.
There is a double-sided mirror in each of the six blossoms. Due to its narrow shape, this sculpture can also be placed very well close to a wall.
The work weighs 18 kg and is signed with the initials cR and also dated on the base.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
