About this artwork
The sculpture weighs 7 kg and consists of a hand-formed aluminum shell that encloses a light, stable supporting core. The base is made of heavy canvas and is partially filled with concrete.
All canvas and aluminum surfaces were coated with iron pigments in a special process and rusted. Further oxidation of the iron particles was stopped by multiple sealing processes, so the rough,… rusty surface does not rub off. The base is not completely rigid, and the sculpture can also stand completely upright when leaning against a wall.
"Raw Nature - ONE IN ONE - H98" has a rather dark nature. The sculpture tolerates direct sunlight, which makes the brushed structures and untreated aluminum areas shine even more. The flower and parts of the base are painted with waterproof ink. Signed with the initials cR.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
