About this artwork
I am interested in examining spaces of possibility beyond our encounter with reality.
In my paintings an image space is created in flowing movement. By overlaying wave-shaped streams of color, a complex illusion of spatial depth is initiated. I have developed a technique specifically for this purpose on acrylic glass, in which I apply the paint on both sides of the picture support.
My pictures are intended to give the viewer the opportunity to… immerse themselves in what they see.
To experience a moment of contemplation and deceleration in light, color and space.
