I graduated from the Beaux Arts de Reims in 1982.
I have done several exhibitions and installations in Reims, Paris and the surrounding region, Picardy, and Lille.
Writing about my work, my approach, is already evoking my techniques, my creative “functioning”.
I paint or sculpt most of the time on non-virgin supports of human origin: degraded walls, printed fabrics, wallpapers...
My latest paintings are made from a composition of printed fabric fragments mounted on cardboard. I use exclusively black and white. The only other visible colors are those of my support.
My subjects are sometimes non-figurative (influenced among other things by African, South American, Oceanian, Inuit, raw, medieval arts, graffiti),
sometimes figurative (portraits, still lifes or landscapes), often a mix of all of that...
