About this artwork
In designing this work, I wanted to capture the duality of calm and passion.
Using acrylic and sawdust, I created an abstract painting where golden lines snake across a deep red background, evoking a tumultuous but luminous journey into the heart of our most ardent emotions.
These impulsive brushstrokes and enigmatic symbols attempt to capture fleeting moments of revelation and mystery.
This painting adds a vibrant, thoughtful energy to any space,… inviting the viewer to delve into their own inner depths.
Claude de Jouvancourt de Channes primarily uses painting and photography, drawing on a solid artistic background. He favors a figurative approach, alternating between classical techniques and modern experimentation to explore light and matter. His works convey a profound sensitivity, inviting contemplation and emotional response.
