About this artwork
A square within a square, where the surface is constructed like a material tapestry: a dense carpet of roses, repeated and engraved, generates a rhythmic field that envelops the gaze. Eighty large and eighty small roses construct a pattern. Rose – Incanto explores enchantment as a perceptual experience born from a minimal shift within repetition. The surface is entirely traversed by spiral shapes that evoke the rose and saturate the space. At first glance, the image appears uniform; upon prolonged observation, however, micro-material variations and vibrations emerge.
