About this artwork
Donne Fluo is a series that comes to life within the larger series Donne Visibili, dedicated to Michela Murgia, which was born to participate in the great feminist movement that spans times, eras and places.
The Sirens that animate this collection choose strong and immediate colors, to draw attention with urgency, strength and disharmony.
I chose the Siren as a fluid form to conceptually define the need to move away from opportunism and conformity.… The bodies of my sirens are light years away from the aesthetic concept of beauty that often pervades the imagination.
Diversity, criticality, complexity at the service of truth.

The work was exhibited in March 2025 at the Scalvini Desio Museum on the occasion of the collective exhibition "Incontri"
