“Foreign Feathers” tells the story of this quiet moment of realization.
Of ideas, feelings and inner images that lose their origin – and yet retain their roots.
The peacock in the picture is beautiful. But he is a thief.
He flies away with her radiance while she tries to comprehend the loss. And yet, something remains.
It only has… the feathers. It doesn't have the root. And without a root, nothing lasts.
