About this artwork
LIFE MOTION grew from my ongoing fascination with nature’s fluidity and the essence of organic movement. Here, sweeping gestures unfold like petals caught in an invisible breeze, each stroke a pulse, a breath, a quiet dance of being in motion. The deep blues that anchor the center pull you inward, drawing you through layers of fluid hues where green and gold merge with faint traces of purple and white, like secrets shared in the hush of twilight.…
The textured layers aim to capture a sense of growth and evolving energy—a reflection of life’s constant motion and subtle rhythms. Creating on such a dynamic scale allowed me to engage fully with the canvas, embracing both sweeping gestures and delicate nuances. Through its harmonious color dialogue and sweeping gestures, LIFE MOTION offers a subtle meditation on the organic forces that shape our world and the invisible currents that sustain life’s delicate balance. Coşkun Özçakır is a Turkish-American artist with formal education in Art/painting and graphic design from California State University, Los Angeles. He approaches his practice with spontaneity, intuition, and fearless creative confidence. Through a sensitive command of color and abstract form, he creates subtle visual harmonies that evolve organically on the canvas. His non-representational works invite personal interpretation, offering viewers a contemplative space that evokes warmth, introspection, and emotional resonance
He has exhibited his works in numerous international symposia, solo and group exhibitions, and international contemporary art fairs in Turkey, Europe, and the U.S.A. The recipient of multiple art awards, and his work has been featured in various magazines, newspapers, and televised interviews. Özçakır’s paintings are held in private and institutional collections both in Turkey and internationally.
He continues to live and work in his studio in Kuşadası, Türkiye.
He has exhibited his works in numerous international symposia, solo and group exhibitions, and international contemporary art fairs in Turkey, Europe, and the U.S.A.
