About this artwork
A work that already existed between the pages of a book, a powerful, at times cruel, story. An existence where life repeatedly tries to bend you, and within these folds the stubborn desire to live, a relentless search for one's own identity, the art that accompanies and sustains until this identity finds space and light, head held high amidst the wounds. I simply saw it between the pages and made it visible and livable on canvas.
“Rediscovered Identity”,… 2026, mixed media on canvas, diameter 80cm
Cristiano Cavedon, a painter and art school graduate, reinvented his artistic expression after a stroke in 2021, transforming the challenge into new life and art. He uses abstract expressionist techniques, combining materiality and dripping gestures in ever-changing visions, where reality is filtered by the soul and mind. His works, charged with energy and color, convey powerful emotions and aspire to be a cure for the soul, engaging the viewer in a living and ever-evolving experience.
