About this artwork
Inspired by a landscape of dunes and sea at sunset, the earthy, reddish tones reflecting the warmth of the sun on the sand, contrasting with the blue-greens of the sea. An image I captured on one of my trips to the Canary Islands, in which I attempt to express that intimate connection and evocative power of coastal desert landscapes.
