Part of the "External Presence Protocol" series, this mixed-media work explores a world where being visible is more vital than being alive. Here, the female face becomes a "showcase"—a surface for social projections where identity dissolves into the pressure of visual conformity. Through… abstract distortion and 3D elements (textile flowers, insects), I deconstruct the gloss of fashion and advertising. These "scraps" of beauty act as a language of resistance, refusing to let the subject be fully consumed by the viewer's gaze. It is a crack in the ideal image, reclaiming the right to vulnerability, inner silence, and the complexity that lies beneath the surface. Each flower and butterfly is meticulously crafted from fabric and integrated into the canvas, creating a tactile, 3D effect.
