About this artwork
In creating "Berlingot" I wanted to capture on canvas an explosion of pure joy, a whirlwind of bright colors and dynamic touches that capture the very essence of childhood and carefreeness. Inspired by the sour candy of the same name, this abstract painting evokes sweet memories of multi-colored sweets.
Each brushstroke seems to capture the glow of a ray of sunshine on the crystalline surface of a candy, while the curves and movements recall the… roundness and softness of candies that slowly melt in the mouth. The energy that emanates from this canvas is contagious, transporting the viewer into a world where lightness and liveliness reign supreme.
Hung on your walls, Berlingot will bring a dose of good humor and vitality to your interior. It will illuminate the space with its bright colors and bring an irresistible touch of cheerfulness.
