About this artwork
The world around us is changing rapidly, and we are gradually noticing that the values and certainties that we have known all our lives and that we have taken for granted, are increasingly disappearing. I depicted this symbolically with crumbling brick walls and peeling plaster in a bright blue sky literally falling into the water. The man looking through a gap in the collapsing wall is lookingat the scene a bit bewildered.
