About this artwork
With this painting I wanted to show that, no matter how well one thinks to know someone, there will always be a hidden, unknown side. Hence, I depicted this symbolically with deep dark water that is difficult to fathom, a dark forest, and a big keyhole in a man's head. It would be helpful if there was some sort of key available that would give access to someone's soul.
