About this artwork
With this work, I attempted to capture the boundless energy of the future in a minimalist, pop-like style. The acrylic lines and shapes appear like pulsating trails of light, expressing dynamism and rhythm. It brings a powerful yet restrained tension to any space and invites reflection on our technological and societal development.
Danny Kästner works with acrylic on canvas, influenced by a diverse career in painting, restoration, interior design, and graphic design. His technique combines traditional craftsmanship such as gilding and marbling with urban influences, inspired by Japanese design, street art, and pop art, often interspersed with graphic elements and hidden fairytale motifs. His works oscillate between abstraction, typography, and pop culture, inviting the viewer to discover small stories. Kästner aims to "wash the dust of everyday life from the soul" through his art and convey pure joie de vivre.
