About this artwork
My tradition:
Every year, for many years, on my birthday, I paint an artwork. This is not easy, there are many things that distract, carry away and do not allow you to concentrate.
This year there was a chance not to get to the easel on time and for the first time, as an argument, I voiced that I needed to go home, since I had to paint a painting. And suddenly I realized that nobody knows about my Tradition.
This is not a debriefing, but simply a… reflection of the state on an important day for me ...

Daria Bagrintseva, graduated from Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry - one of the most prestigious Russian art universities, is an experienced Russian-born painter whose work has featured in exhibitions, publications, and collections in Russia, USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Holland, Cyprus, and India. She has been awarded numerous national and international art prizes notably the American Art Awards and Milan International Art Award. Additionally, her paintings were acquired by the State Russian Museum and the Museum of Russian Art.
In her work, Daria explores a range of themes, from nude to landscape, Art Deco to abstract. Her artistic aesthetic is marked by intense colors and a sense of lightness.
