Instead, I am seeking to create paintings that evoke a sense of calm and tranquility, and that express my own unique vision of the world.
I am drawn to monochrome paintings for their simplicity and elegance.… They allow me to focus on the essential elements of a composition, such as form, line, and texture. I also enjoy the challenge of working with a limited palette. It forces me to be more creative and to think more carefully about my choices.
