About this artwork
The calm before the storm. An artist in a moment of concentration—vibrant colors dance across the skin like the energy before a performance. The tension of an Italian summer night, captured in a single instant.

Print behind matte acrylic glass
The artwork is printed and developed on Fuji Crystal Archive glossy photographic… paper using state-of-the-art laser technology. It is then mounted under matte, 2 mm thick acrylic glass, stabilized on the back with a 3 mm thick aluminum Dibond panel, sealed with permanently elastic silicone, and finally framed.
framing
ArtBox made of aluminum, profile depth 25 mm (black). Anodized aluminum provides an elegant, understated frame for the artwork. The 4 mm shadow gap creates the impression that the artwork is floating.
David Immanuel Levi is a Cologne-based artist working at the intersection of expressive realism, street art aesthetics, and dark pop. Born in Germany, he found his artistic and spiritual home in Italy – a deep connection that gave rise to the name ECCOIO: “Ecco io” – Here I am. Not a whisper, but a declaration.
Before turning to art, Levi worked for years in investment and real estate. This world honed his discipline, but he couldn't grasp what he needed to express. His path to painting was a revelation.
In 2025, he developed "The Code"—a radical system based on CMYK printing inks. By applying raw, pasty industrial pigments to large-format canvases, he restores a human soul to the artificial.
In the same year, he launched limited editions on acrylic glass to make his vision accessible to a wider audience.
His philosophy: Senza filtri. Non negoziabile. Without filters. Non negotiable.
