About this artwork
Original work made in oil painting on canvas. The subject depicts a corner of the park of Villa Olmo on Lake Como in northern Italy. The artist has focused attention on the contrast of complementary colors between the cold ones of the foliage of the trees in the background, and that of the illuminated walls of the villa together with the avenue in the first floor looking for a chromatic harmony. the possibility of studying the various surfaces through… a play of overlapping material layers that increase the naturalistic effect. Signed and dated on the front. Good conditions. The painting will be shipped with the best materials and protection. Do not hesitate to contact the artist who will be happy to answer all questions. * In the additional images you can see the picture hanging on the wall in the room.
« Knowing how to create a space, studying a light that can enhance the work of shapes and colors that would otherwise be an end in itself. »
