About this artwork
In this work, I have captured the inner connection between music and the soul. The surreal, flowing lines represent the energy and emotions that arise when playing the violin. With acrylic paints, I wanted to make the intensity and warmth of the melody visible, so that the painting creates a vibrant yet meditative atmosphere in the room. It invites one to surrender to the music and draw strength from it.
I used a technique I invented: a cut canvas… is attached with modeling clay and painted with acrylic paints. A red cotton fabric is attached to the back of the canvas, where the cut structures cast interesting shadows.
