About this artwork
In my work, I aimed to capture the emotion of silence and reflection. Using watercolor, I wanted to paint the human experience through soft tones and nuanced shapes, typical of impressionism. This scene depicts two men talking and one in the background absorbed in his thoughts, sitting next to a window, where the light filters and caresses the skin and surfaces. This work will transmit an atmosphere of quiet introspection and a sense of inner peace… to your home.
I was born in Florence, graduated in Physics in 1996, and since 2002 I have followed L. Piseri's watercolor courses, participated in workshops with the masters A. Castagnet, C. Farré, and S. Garcia. In 2022 I attended the School of Nude, in 2023 the painting course, and since 2024 the three-year course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. I have exhibited in Italy, Germany, France, Albania, India, Spain, Sweden, Slovenia, and the United States. I also exhibited as part of the Identity Collective at the Grenada Pavilion of the 59th Venice Biennale 2022 by D. Radini Tedeschi, at the Espo Triennale of Visual Arts in Rome 21 and 23. In 2025, a solo exhibition was held in the Foyer of the Sirena Auditorium in Francavilla al Mare. “On the Route of Leonardo Da Vinci” was held in Cividale del Friuli, Vinci, and Vipava with G. Caneva. At Mum Art 2025, 24, 23, and 22 in Giardinelli. At “Homage to Picasso” by E. Angiuoni. At S. Bernhardt and Colette “En travesti” by E. Vermeer.
