About this artwork

Exploring the delicate tension between permanence and impermanence using a raw wooden panel. Smoky layers of pyrography and muted spray paint drift across the surface like distant landforms or weathered memories, while strips of plaster and silver foil echo geologic strata or scars left by time.
The restrained palette of cool greys, soft neutrals, and occasional flashes of metallic evokes a vast, ethereal landscape suspended between land, sea, and… sky.
