About this artwork
Through this graphite portrait, I wanted to capture the depth of the gaze and the softness of the face, while playing with the rich textures of the knitted sweater. Each detail evokes a subtle emotion, a silent story.
Created during the heatwave of August 2025, it represents for me the hope of finding breathable air again and at the same time the sadness of knowing that soon nostalgia for summer will overcome me.
