About this artwork
This artwork was created after I painted a portrait of my mother. I wanted to pay tribute to her by creating this piece, as she meant so much to me as a mother. I was fortunate to have many "moms" in my life, which meant she was always there to give me love, guidance, values, and support in everything I did. She was unconditionally there for me through all the difficult and joyful times I experienced.
I remember her fondly and am grateful to have… had the good fortune of having her as my mother. She will always remain in my heart as an unforgettable memory. The artwork is more figurative, and although it features flowers and branches, these are from my inner garden and are illuminated with all the positivity my mother brought into my life.
