About this artwork
Realms of Light unfolds as a luminous interplay of transparency, movement, and layered color. Sweeping arcs and fluid gestures drift across a radiant field of yellow, turquoise, and soft pink, evoking shifting atmospheres where light becomes almost tangible. Forms appear suspended, as if caught between emergence and dissolution, creating a sense of depth without fixed boundaries. The composition suggests multiple planes of perception—inner and outer—gently… overlapping. Through its airy, flowing structure, the painting invites contemplation of light as both presence and passage, a subtle force shaping space, sensation, and quiet transformation.
Painted on quality acid free paper made especially for painters, framed and ready to hang.
« In the beginning, the mind is as blank as the canvas. Then the hands begin their dance, the heart chooses its colors, and the emotions their expression. »
Delphine Bernard is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited in Singapore and Indonesia. She compares each of her compositions as being like a vision or a dream and characterizes her artistic process to being "shamanistic". Bernard creates intuitively, allowing her hands to "dance and play" with colors on the canvas. Her vibrant compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
