About this artwork
I created this painting because I felt sorry for the canvas! It had worked so hard. I had used it for several demonstrations in painting classes . You can see the evidence of this in the additional photos. A rose is visible under the portrait. On the back you can see an outline of a cake coming through from the front. It is a humble little canvas that has aspired to greatness. This painting came together so beautifully as part of my dog series and…
