About this artwork

The abstract expressive forms of visual artist Denny Baggen are reminiscent of ancient cave drawings, in which animals were usually the subject. In their originality, the peoples of that time wanted to show us their message in enthusiastic visual stories.
It is about the friendship with my dog. The way of communicating, the looks of understanding and the physical touch. So special is the unconditional love you can feel in the relationship with your… dog

Denny Baggen is a painter and sculptor based in the Netherlands whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France and Germany. She describes her art as being reflective of her positive outlook on life. In addition, Baggen's figures arise from a love of the "pure and energetic essence of animals". Her three-dimensional sculptural compositions are "drawings made out of metal".
