Is it your mask that looks so cute, or is it your true self beneath? Is your real nature concealed behind a façade, or does an unexpected animal—your authentic inner creature—sometimes emerge? Perhaps it removes its mask and reveals a face that shocks not because it is truly frightening, but simply because it is unfamiliar. Maybe some creatures must keep wearing their masks, hiding the cruelty that would otherwise be exposed.

I learned to draw from my mother when I was 10. I didn't start using color until much later. I think my father indirectly guided me in that direction back then. In the 1990s, he painted many oil paintings but had to put them aside due to work and the children. I was interested in colors back then, but the time wasn't right to put it into practice. It wasn't until 2010 that I actually started painting. My works developed from a self-taught background and an understanding of CG Jung's books, which paved the way for my first steps in painting. I paint both abstract and surreal works; my pictures always have a story, sometimes profound and enigmatic, but also unrelated to any specific theme and seemingly plucked from another world entirely. Whether everyone can understand this is open to question. Not everyone needs to understand my painting. Through my works, I wish to convey a profound perspective and perhaps a certain 'strange art'.
