About this artwork
Bronze sculpture made using the lost wax technique. The sculpture was first made in wax, molded and then the bronze was poured into the hollow mold. Thus the sculpture is unique (1/1). The piece was then patinated and waxed. the base is a pebble, its weight is 2.2 kg, it can be exposed indoors as well as outdoors.

Didier Fournier is a sculptor based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally.
There are no themes, conscious messages, or theories in his pieces, rather, he allows he creates spontaneously, allowing his hands to decide. In his artistic process, Fournier begins with beeswax, then molds the composition in clay. Employing the lost wax technique, he casts in bronze.
