Singular Core" is an exploration into the moment of origin for both the universe and biological life. The artwork visualizes the critical nexus point—whether a cosmic formation or a cell nucleus—that holds all potential and energy within itself.
The central scorched red form represents both a gateway to life and a black hole drawing everything inward. The surrounding purple and blue undulations symbolize the cosmic vibrations and observational forms… (eyes) created by the energy emanating from this core. It is a work that questions the continuous and dynamic relationship between Biological Form and Cosmic Power.
To complete the experience: The artwork contains special pigments. Under the UV light provided, the hidden layers of the painting are revealed, offering the viewer a profound and alternative experience.
My artistic journey began in the kitchen. While working as a sous chef in Oxford’s rosette-awarded restaurants, I discovered the meditative beauty of handcrafting and the transformation of raw materials. When the pandemic closed the restaurants, I turned fully toward art and found a way to reflect myself and my visions through creation.
Philosophy has always been close to me, and it deeply influences my practice. In my works, I explore themes such as the universe, existence, femininity, and the contrasts of nature. I use materials like acrylics, spray paint, pastels, wool, wood, and glow-in-the-dark pigments to create multi-layered compositions. With glow-in-the-dark paints, I invite viewers into three experiences of the same artwork: in daylight, under UV light, and in complete darkness.
