About this artwork
This work is a vibrant celebration of human isolation and routine. With carefully placed colors and simple, almost childlike figures, I invite the viewer to reflect on loneliness and everyday life. The pop art elements create a pulsating rhythm that brings both energy and contemplation into your home. It is a powerful reminder of how much the small moments shape our lives.
Dmitri Svetchnikov is a trained painter from the Kharkov State Art School, known for his numerous exhibitions worldwide. He has developed a personal style, using avant-garde techniques such as oil on canvas to illustrate the complex relationships between humans and animals. His art is vibrant and emotional; it portrays animals as more honest, truthful, and reliable than humans, provoking reflection in the viewer. He was admitted to the Artists' Union of Ukraine in 1986. From 1991 to 2025, he held 77 solo exhibitions in various cities in Germany: Wiesbaden, Mainz, Neu-Isenburg, Taunusstein, Geisenheim, Koblenz, Holte-Stuckenbrock, Hofheim, Lohr am Main, Ingelheim, Idstein, Museum im Wehener Schloss Taunusstein, Trier, Centre Culturel ASPouchkine Luxembourg, Stadtm Museum am Markt Wiesbaden, and Walkmühle Wiesbaden Artists' Association.
