About this artwork
The series "White And Black" was inspired by a style of Japanese painting called Zenga, which is a union of calligraphy and painting. In my opinion, Zenga is the best way to express the essence of a phenomenon with a minimum of color and form.
This series consists of 8 paintings made with hot wax and pigment (encaustic). The layout offered on the image is not the only one possible. These 8 small paintings, created in the Zenga style, offer a unique… advantage: they can be displayed together as a cohesive set or arranged individually throughout your home in any combination that suits your taste and personal preferences. These paintings will give your home a modern look.
Each painting is made on a museum quality Encausticbord, which is made from premium warp-resistant 1/8" profile FSC-certified Hardbord™ that is protected with proprietary Archiva-Seal™
