About this artwork
In this work, I explored the emotional power of grey, complementing it with vibrant pops of color to express inner struggle and exultation. The use of oil allowed me to create rich and deep textures, each brush stroke is a breath of life on canvas. This art conveys a message of resilience and hope, bringing a dynamic and thoughtful energy into your home. A celebration of human strength through chaos and chromatic harmony. The neutral, gray background… chromatically characterizes the work, constituting a large part of the work itself. The contrast in quantity of the parts traced inside, with vigorous strokes of the spatula, the reds, greens, black, are however more evident and make the work interesting in terms of contrast and composition. It could be a bouquet of white flowers, a good omen for the future of each of us.
« "What I have defined by the proximity of approximation, is realized through visual-emotional syncretism." »
Domenico Asmone’s paintings and sculptures have been exhibited across Italy. His artistic interest and work involve the reading and deciphering of our surroundings via visual experience. Asmone translates his studies and interest in primary colors, as well as the elements of air, water, fire and earth into his art. He uses three or four colours at most in his works, deeming a piece finished when the initial randomness of creation meets the causality of the necessary.
