About this artwork
A free pictorial exploration and improvisation of gesture in this abstract work where vertical longitudinal forms rub shoulders. The artist used different mediums in this painting including acrylic, Thai and Chyiogami papers. The texture is composed of structural mortar. The transparency of certain papers brings beautiful shades overall. The canvas is varnished anti UV and the sides are painted in black acrylic. The artwork does not need to be framed… unless you prefer to do so. It is ready to hang in your home decor!
« Passionate and in love with the beauty of nature and eager to transmit through my art of happiness. »
Dominique Desmeules is a Canadian artist who has exhibited her works nationally, as well as in China, Argentina, Turkey, Singapore, Australia, Japan, the United States, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
