About this artwork
"Quiet Blooming" captures the atmosphere of warm summer days – that time when blossoms are in full bloom and yet already carry a subtle hint of change. Several flowers unfold on a delicate, branching plant, loosely spaced yet harmoniously connected. The color palette of rosé, magenta, and deep dark magenta lends the work warmth, depth, and a tranquil intensity.
Delicate pollen and slender stems are visible in the centers of the blossoms, lending… the composition a fragile lightness. Small, understated leaves accompany the flowers without dominating them – like silent companions in a moment brimming with life.

Dominique Ludmann is a contemporary German artist with a deep passion for fluid art and the expressive power of liquefied acrylic paint. In her works, she combines movement, emotion, and imagination to create multifaceted visual worlds that oscillate between dynamism and inner reflection.
Her series Breath of Blooms explores breath as the origin of life. Through mouth-blown forms, she creates floral compositions full of power, vulnerability, and feminine energy. The works represent vitality, empathy, and the strength of the feminine in a patriarchal world.
With her Iris series, Ludmann directs our gaze both outward and inward. The iris becomes a symbol of perception, intuition, and hidden emotional levels. Her work is complemented by the imaginative Dragon Eye series, inspired by mystical beings, inner strength, and imaginative worlds, as well as The Bloom – an homage to the quiet power of individual blossoms and plants.
